1.Whiteness
The whiter the better, the color is usually related to raw materials and purity, it has not too much influence on the use of the product, but if you have a better chance, why not choose the better one
2. Finess
The finer the better. Fineness is also an important performance indicator for cellulose ether. Fineness affects the solubility of cellulose ether. Only enough fine powder can avoid cellulose ether agglomeration when adding water.
3. Transmittance
the better the transmittance is, the better the HPMC is. A transparent colloid will be formed if the HPMC is added into water, then you can compare the transparency of different samples. And Transmittance will be an important performance indicator if HPMC is applied in detergent and shampoo.
4. Specific gravity
The greater the specific gravity is, the better the HPMC is better. Because specific is related to the content of hydroxypropyl group, and if the content of hydroxypropyl group is high, the water retention is better.
